Best market prices for used machinery
New, flexible solutions to sell used machines are requiered. From initial evaluation and documentation to marketing and logistics, Gindumac provides the all-round, worry-free package for machine owners.
Whether DMG Mori, Hermle, Trumpf, Bystronic, Engel or KraussMaffei: Gindumac knows current market values for used machines. Increasingly, manufacturing companies are finding it difficult to realistically determine what value they can still achieve for their used machine on the market. Gindumac offers a market-based evaluation to support managing directors, production managers and buyers in their selling processes.
Current market value evaluation of used machines
To determine the market value of used machines, Gindumac looks at four value dimensions: Machine condition,
market situation, depreciation value and logistics requirement. To determine the market situation Gindumac uses data technology developed in-house.
„With our Market Intelligence System, or MIS, we map supply, demand and price developments to machine models. This ensures that we can assess and evaluate the market values of used machines at a real market level,” says Janek Andre, CEO, describing the special feature in the value determination.
Best price, secure payment, quick pick-up
The GINDUMAC GmbH uses its online platform for the global trading of used machinery to ensure maximum visibility and reach for its machinery offers.
„When selling, we focus on taking the marketing burden off the customer and getting the best price for them. Here, we offer machine users everything from a single source, from evaluation to marketing, from lead management to purchasing and from payment to logistics processing: manufacturer- and machine-independent,” says Benedikt Ruf, Managing Director.
Full and global transaction processing
In addition to purchasing, marketing and selling used machines, Gindumac also takes care of full transaction management.
With a worldwide network of more than 500 qualified logistics partners, Gindumac always provides the most suitable overall package for every project requirement. Gindumac specializes in used metal working, sheet metal working and plastics processing machines. Regardless of manufacturer or machine type, whether metal working, metal forming or injection molding, machine users can offer their machine at www.gindumac.com with just a few clicks. With make, model and year of manufacture information, Gindumac sends a free initial evaluation with corresponding marketing options. Sellers can thus weigh up whether and in what way a sale of their machine might be interesting.
„With our online platform and network, we have the best possible global visibility in marketing. If there is demand, it will not get past us,” adds Janek Andre.
The used machinery trading is largely an export business. Each used machine has its specific requirements as marketing project. Depending on the location, age, application or condition, a different transaction channel comes into question. In metal working, machining centers not older than 10 years can be sold very well in the European domestic market. In sheet metal processing, older generation laser cutting machines mostly go to developing regions in Asia or North Africa. In plastics processing, injection molding machines with high clamping force are in demand both in Europe and overseas, depending on their age.
Virtual inspection in Corona times
In Corona times, travel restrictions mean that on-site inspections of used machines can often only be carried out to a very limited extent or not at all. Gindumac therefore transfers the on-site visit to the digital space and thus provides the necessary live impression of the machine. The company Unipart AG from Liechtenstein decided to purchase the 5-axis machining center Litz LU 620, year of manufacture 2013, from the UK in November 2020 after a video inspection.
„Virtual inspection of used machines is a good alternative to on-site inspection, not only in times of Corona. With good preparation, it is possible to do all the tests that you would do on site without having to leave the office,” says Dominik Bürgler, Managing Director of Unipart AG.
Pioneer for the platform business
Gindumac is a pioneer for the platform business in the global used machinery trading and one of the market leaders in Europe,
the group’s Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) is in the double-digit millions. For the year 2021 Gindumac continues to focus on growth.
„We will focus intensively on strengthening our core business for the year-end and 2021, as well as our Network for machine procurement and sales actively. The Corona crisis shows a clear tendency to use of online platforms. We want to actively use this for our benefit,” says Benedikt Ruf.
The GINDUMAC Group, with national companies in Germany, Spain, and India, as well as locations throughout Europe, is one of the market leaders for the used machinery trade in Europe with over 40 employees.
