Virtual inspection in Corona times
In Corona times, travel restrictions mean that on-site inspections of used machines can often only be carried out to a very limited extent or not at all. The company Unipart AG from Liechtenstein decided to purchase the 5-axis machining center Litz LU 620, year of manufacture 2013, from the UK in November 2020 after a video inspection.
„Virtual inspection of used machines is a good alternative to on-site inspection, not only in times of Corona. With good preparation, it is possible to do all the tests that you would do on site without having to leave the office,” says Dominik Bürgler, Managing Director of Unipart AG.
