Growing market potential for used machinery business in Russia: GINDUMAC at METALLOOBRABOTKA 2021

From May 24 – 28, 2021, the global machine tool industry will meet at METALLOOBRABOTKA 2021 in Russia. The trade show is considered the leading international trade fair and the largest event for metalworking in Eastern Europe and the CIS countries.

Used machinery dealer GINDUMAC will be exhibiting at METALLOOBRABOTKA for the first time. In Pavilion 2, Hall 3, Booth E92, the GINDUMAC GmbH will present its current portfolio of used metal and plastics processing machines. With the start of the trade fair, the new Russian country version of the transactional machine platform will be launched on www.gindumac.ru.

“High machine quality, short-term availability, attractive prices and professional transaction processing are our focus. With our first-time participation at METALLOOBRABOTKA and the launch of the Russian country version of our online platform, we can cater even more specifically to the needs of Russian-speaking customers. Russian business as strategic growth driver

For GINDUMAC, Russia has established itself as an important growth market. This development is significantly driven by sales of used machine tools from Western Europe and East Asia to Russia. According to the company, several machines are transacted to Russia and the CIS countries every month.
“Since the beginning of 2020, demand from Russia for used metal and plastics processing machines has grown strongly at our company. That is why we had already decided a year ago to specifically expand our activities on the Russian market as well as in the CIS states. In the meantime, this region has developed into one of our strongest sales regions. Being an exhibitor at METALLOOBRABOTKA is a strategically important momentum for us in the context of this year’s growth targets,” explains Janek Andre, CEO of the GINDUMAC Group.
